Your new role
We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to oversee key financial activities, and support operational performance in Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan & Turkmenistan. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine financial acumen with operational experience in a multinational healthcare environment.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop & monitor budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections and other financial planning processes
- Monitoring financial performance and ensuring accurate, timely reporting for local and regional stakeholders
- Collaborating with commercial team to drive financial performance
- Leading month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliations, variance analysis and performance reporting
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Your New Department
This is a full-time position based in Baku and reporting to the NECIS Finance Manager. You will join a collaborative and highly driven affiliate team in Azerbaijan. The business works closely with regional and global stakeholders, external partners to ensure operational excellence. You will work closely with the commercial team across the company and external customers to ensure efficient operations and financial accuracy. Your role will be key in ensuring reliable processes and high-quality execution as the affiliate continues to grow.
Your skills and qualifications
We're seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in finance roles within multinational companies
- Proven skills in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and execution
- High proficiency in Excel and strong experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Experience working with pharmaceutical companies or distributors is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to present data clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Strong command of written and spoken English, Russian is a plus
- High attention to detail, strong prioritisation and organisational skills
