Contribute to Elia Group’s digital and customer experience excellence
Elia Group is driving a cross-entity digital evolution through the OneSAP+ cluster, aiming to harmonize and optimize business processes—including those directly serving our customers and market partners. Within this context, we are seeking an engaged Product Owner to lead the OneSAP+ Customer & Market product area, supporting integrated, future-proof digital solutions and driving a seamless experience for our internal and external stakeholders.

Your mission
As Product Owner Customer & Market, you own and develop digital solutions by leveraging SAP lead-to-cash and satellite technologies that optimize customer-facing processes and market interactions across Elia Group. You connect operational, business, and market requirements to relevant digital enablement and ensure the delivery of solutions that empower our stakeholders and enhance Elia’s position in an evolving energy landscape.

 

Your main objectives will be to:

  • Identify and centralize business and customer requirements in your product domain;
  • Translate customer and market needs into digital product features and improvements;
  • Maintain a prioritized product backlog reflecting customer value, market trends, and compliance needs;
  • Lead the delivery of digital solutions that simplify processes, foster transparency, and drive customer satisfaction;
  • Provide regular insights, KPIs, and dashboards to track performance and service quality.

In parallel, you will:

  • Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and roadmap aligned with OneSAP+ and Elia Group strategy;
  • Act as a connector between business, IT, and customer-facing teams, supporting end-to-end digital transformation in the customer & market domain within all entities of Elia Group;
  • Coordinate closely with key users, IT, and stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption and alignment with operational realties;
  • Champion digital innovation, customer-centricity, and data-driven decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Own and iterate the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Customer & Market product area;
  • Build and nurture the product backlog in close alignment with business, market, and support teams;
  • Organize Agile ceremonies and drive the development team toward timely, impactful deliveries;
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement;
  • Monitor product adoption, define KPIs, measure customer and market satisfaction, and collect feedback for ongoing enhancement;
  • Act as ambassador for digital and operational excellence within Elia Group and towards market partners.

Your Profile

 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or, alternatively, in a product leadership or business analysis role in an Agile environment;
  • Master’s degree (or comparable experience) in Business, IT, Engineering, Economics, or a related field;
  • Customer- and market-centric, with strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills;
  • Hands-on, result-driven, and proactive, with a proven track record in delivering digital solutions;
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, backlog prioritization, and agile product development;
  • Comfortable collaborating with IT, business, and market teams—able to translate complex needs into clear, actionable items;
  • Strong understanding of SAP offerings related to Lead-to-Cash (e.g. SAP SD, C4C), as well as experience with other popular sales and customer experience solutions such as Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar platforms. Proven track record in integrating these systems into a cohesive and efficient customer experience ecosystem.
  • Experience in digital transformation, business process improvement is an asset;
  • Fluent in English, and a working knowledge of Dutch, French or German is advantageous.
  • Travel Willingness: Willingness to travel, especially between Brussels and Berlin.
