Key Responsibilities:
We're looking a PIM / PXM / MDM Architect who will be involved in strategic PXM (Product Experience Management) / MDM (Master Data Management) projects including the development and integration of product master data solutions.
The Architect will gather key business process information, generate requirements and design specifications, define and document business processes and ultimately propose design solutions that meet client requirements.
What you will do:
- Lead digital projects across regions like North America, Europe, LATAM, and Asia, using tool such as Salsify, Syndigo, Akeneo, Adobe/Aprimo DAM, and Azure/AWS Integrations.
- Support the presales process by preparing and presenting complete end-to-end architectures, defining the technology strategy and north-star vision, proposing solutions with clear justifications, and delivering estimates that guide successful decision-making.
- Build and manage systems for product data and digital content used on the digital shelf and across marketing platforms.
- Handle global rollouts of PIM, MDM, and DAM systems, making sure product information stays consistent everywhere.
- Work closely with global technology, multiple teams and stakeholders to plan digital strategies and improve ways of working.
- Guide cross-functional teams to deliver integration projects on time and encourage collaboration and new ideas.
- Use Azure/AWS integrations and automation to make global operations faster and more efficient.
- Support global teams as a digital advisor, helping them choose and use technology that fits their business goals.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by understanding their needs in the context of the project.
- Determine and implement design methodologies and tool sets to meet functional requirements.
- Address issues promptly and respond positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement.
- Come up with solutions and justify decisions taken during code/design reviews and carry out POCs to ensure suggested design/technologies meet requirements.
- Lead the PXM engineering team, combining hands-on technical direction with coaching, knowledge sharing, and capability development
Who you are:
- A seasoned PXM Solution Architect with deep expertise in PIM, MDM, DAM, and Digital Shelf ecosystems, particularly with tools like Salsify, Syndigo, Akeneo, DAM, Azure/AWS Cloud Services.
- Strong technical background in presales, capable of shaping end-to-end solution architectures, defining north-star strategies, API-driven integrations, cloud automation, data modeling, taxonomy design, and digital asset workflows.
- Skilled in designing scalable, secure, and global architectures, defining data governance standards, and ensuring consistent product information across regions.
- Experienced in delivering enterprise integrations using microservices, serverless solutions together with modern cloud patterns based on Azure/AWS Cloud.
- A collaborative leader who guides cross-functional teams, influences stakeholders, and clearly communicates technical solutions across global teams.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement with a strong balance of technical depth and leadership awareness.
What you’ll need:
- Minimum 15 years of overall experience in software development
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Hands-on expertise and proven work experience with at least one PIM platform such as Salsify, Syndigo, or Akeneo
- Minimum of 4+ years of previous experience involving the below points.
- Expertise in managing product and asset data, including understanding of PLM systems, data models, and lifecycle processes.
- Ability to develop and configure PIM instances, manage MDM configurations, and perform PIM operations.
- Understanding of data quality and governance workflows, import/export processes, and data relationships.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technology integration scenarios.
- Currently living in The Netherlands with a valid work permit.
