Job Description

As Senior HR Business Partner for LATAM, you will be the go-to HR leader in the region, ensuring seamless alignment between QIMA’s global HR strategy and local HR teams across multiple countries — with a special focus on Brazil, Chile, and Mexico. From policies to tools to processes, you will make sure every initiative connects corporate vision with local impact and delivers measurable results.

You will drive HR integration projects, embed global QIMA best practices into diverse cultural contexts, and partner with leaders and HR teams across divisions to shape talent strategy, strengthen engagement, and make HR a true competitive advantage in LATAM.

Our global HR team’s mission is simple: attract, develop, and retain the best talent who live our values and drive business growth.

You will connect global strategy with on-the-ground execution, ensuring every HR process, tool, and policy is aligned, compliant, and effective across LATAM. Your leadership will directly shape team performance, collaboration, and engagement — making LATAM a model for HR excellence in QIMA worldwide.

Reporting directly to the group CHRO and working closely with global and regional HR peers, you will:

Integration & Operations

  • Lead the rollout and adoption of global HR systems across LATAM — ensuring consistent usage, data integrity, and local compliance.
  • Streamline HR processes for efficiency and consistency across countries and divisions.
  • Coordinate day-to-day HR operations in Brazil, Chile, and Mexico, ensuring full compliance with local labour laws and QIMA’s corporate governance.
  • Act as the key link between LATAM and global HR on tools, systems, and reporting standards.

Policies & Alignment

  • Localize and implement global HR policies while maintaining full alignment with corporate frameworks.
  • Ensure any local adaptations are documented, validated, and shared with global teams.
  • Facilitate two-way communication between LATAM leaders and global HR to regularly exchange feedback, best practices, and process improvements.
  • Promote standardized approaches across Food and LS divisions to break down silos and build consistency.

Talent & Development

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver workforce planning, recruitment, and succession strategies that serve both global priorities and local needs.
  • Drive leadership development initiatives and career growth programs across LATAM.
  • Develop actions to boost engagement, retention, and performance.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters in multiple jurisdictions, ensuring fair, compliant, and consistent resolution.
  • Champion cultural integration across the LATAM region while reinforcing QIMA’s global values.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and inclusive work environment

Qualifications

In order to succeed in this role, you have:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or similar discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant exposure to HR business partnering and leadership.
  • Proven experience in HR integrations (systems, processes, operations) within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation.
  • Bilingual: Portuguese (native) and English fluency; Spanish and/or French is a plus.
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work proactively and independently.
