The Role

Reporting to the Head of Brand, this position is responsible for managing and executing world-class marketing campaigns.

Your core objectives will be to build Afterpay to be the most loved brand in ANZ, and the most preferred payments brand. You will have a growth mindset and be fiercely customer centric, always eager to understand more about our consumers. To do this, you will work with the other members of the Brand team to manage and implement our key brand campaigns to market.

This role will also assist in being a pivotal central point for brand communications across the business, ensuring we maintain a coherent, strong Afterpay ToV across everything that we do. While this role is very hands-on, it still requires a strategic thinker who is considered, has strong attention to detail and is able to communicate and work with stakeholders at all levels.

You Will

  • Campaign Management:
    • Plan and execute impactful marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive consumer preference.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact on campaigns as required, or work as part of an agile team to execute campaigns.
    • Manage timelines, internal communications, external agencies and internal stakeholders as required.
    Collaboration & Communication:
    • Partner effectively with the larger marketing team based in Australia, including CRM, social lifecycle, media managers, and creative teams.
    • Collaborate with global and regional teams to optimize strategies across owned and merchant channels.
    • Work closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts and drive business growth.
    Execution & Innovation:
    • Hands-on management of campaign delivery to ensure high-quality execution and measurable results.
    • Implement innovative marketing solutions and leverage AI and tools to enhance campaign effectiveness.
    Additional Core Responsibilities:
    • Brand Custodian - Act as a custodian of the Afterpay brand supporting internal & external stakeholders with meeting brand guidelines.
    • Be a continuous central point for Brand approval on all marketing communications that go out, ensuring tone of voice remains consistently aligned and quality of a high standard.
    • Provide feedback on marketing assets from a brand perspective as required.
    • Remain close with Compliance teams to ensure understanding of the current business environment and its impact on Brand.
    • Operate autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams internally and externally.

You Have

  • 3-5 years experience in a consumer marketing/brand role with focus on customer communication.
  • Experienced in multi-channel marketing across ATL/ TTL and BTL.
  • Strong campaign/project management stills.
  • Strong budget management and prioritisation skills.

  • At the forefront of culture, trends and innovation, not afraid to push the boundaries and try new ideas.
  • E-commerce or retail sectors are desirable.
  • Experience working effectively in a matrix organization.
