The Sales Operations Data Analyst will provide focused support for stability and enhancement of a mission-critical suite of Sales Operations dashboards and reports that underpin forecasting, client strategy, budget pacing, and fund utilization across the organization, escalating and collaborating as necessary to resolve issues and optimize intelligence outputs from the systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Data Quality & Integrity
  • Monitor and validate data flowing from Salesforce through Databricks into dashboards, ensuring:
    • Alignment between pipeline runs and dashboard refreshes.
    • Consistent logic for targets, actuals, and forecast metrics.
    • Accurate parent/child account rollups and product breakdowns.
  • Proactively identify gaps, anomalies, or discrepancies across key dashboards (e.g., differences between Salesforce pipeline and displayed pipeline in dashboards).
  • Partner with Sales Ops and Finance to reconcile and resolve issues, including:
    • Misaligned totals between dashboards and source systems
    • Inconsistent account grouping or overrides
    • Discrepancies in campaign pacing or fund utilization numbers
  1. Dashboard Maintenance & Optimization
  • Monitor the operational health of Sales Operations dashboards, including:
    • Maintaining business logic, filters, and calculated fields
    • Ensuring that new products, accounts, or structural changes are correctly reflected.
    • Supporting Sales Reporting & Analytics Manager in retiring or consolidating outdated views (such as the current user access dashboard) and supporting migration to newer, more scalable solutions
  • Document dashboard logic, data sources, and dependencies to support business continuity.
  1. Continuous Improvement & Roadmap Input
  • Track recurring data issues and bottlenecks, surfacing:
    • Process improvements in data entry, validation, or upstream Salesforce design.
    • Opportunities to standardize metrics and definitions.
    • Candidates for future automation and AI (e.g., anomaly detection, forecasting, fund utilization optimization)

 

  • Provide structured feedback to Sales Reporting & Analytics Manager on where to enhance validation rules or adjust Salesforce fields to improve reporting downstream.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong proficiency with analytics and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, or equivalent used internally)
  • Experience with SQL
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data structures, particularly Opportunities, Products, Accounts, and related objects
  • Hands-on experience with data pipelines and integration (Databricks or comparable data platforms)
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards for Sales, Finance, and Strategy stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • Diagnose and resolve data quality issues.
    • Work with complex business logic around targets, groupings, and overrides.
    • Coordinate across Sales, Finance, Product, and Data Engineering
  • Familiarity with:
    • Campaign and budget pacing concepts.
    • Rewards/fund tracking and client-facing performance reporting.
    • Access and credential management considerations (e.g., service account keys)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation habits and ability to manage a dynamic request queue independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • College degree in business, analytics, mathematics, data science, or similar
  • Up to 2 years related experience

  • The stated salary range represents the entire span applicable across all geographic markets from lowest to highest.  Actual salary offers will be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data and cost of labor. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for variable compensation.
