Position: Marketing Specialist

Focus: Design, Rebranding, Social Media, Campaign Execution, and Internal Communications
Department: Marketing
Reports to: VP of Marketing & Communications
Location: Hybrid (Chicago/Cincinnati) or Remote (U.S.)

Role Overview

The Marketing Generalist will be a hands-on, execution-driven role responsible for brand execution, social media, communications and specialty marketing campaigns. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring employees, partners, and stakeholders are informed, aligned, and engaged—while supporting rebranding initiatives and scalable marketing programs across the organization.

This role blends communications strategy, creative execution, and campaign operations in a fast-growing, multi-office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. External Communications & Social Media
  • Manage and execute social media content across corporate and partner-facing channels.
  • Support thought leadership initiatives, including content coordination, posting, and distribution.
  • Ensure brand consistency and tone across all external communications.
  1. Rebrand & Design Execution
  • Support execution of rebranding initiatives, including design updates and rollout materials.
  • Maintain and apply brand standards across digital, print, and internal assets.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables related to rebrand projects to ensure on-time execution.
  1. Specialty & Campaign Marketing
  • Build and manage specialty-focused marketing campaigns, including:
    • List pulling and segmentation
    • Drip email campaign development and deployment
    • Campaign tracking and optimization
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support specialty growth initiatives.
  1. Creative & Marketing Operations Support
  • Produce and update marketing materials (presentations, one-pagers, digital assets).
  • Support marketing workflows, timelines, and cross-functional coordination as the team scales.
  1. Internal Communications
  • Execute internal communications across the organization, including:
    • Leadership announcements
    • Internal campaigns and initiatives
    • Office, partner, and operational updates
    • Monthly newsletter development and distribution
  • Support executive and leadership messaging with clear, consistent, and timely communications.
  • Develop templates and processes to streamline internal communication workflows.
  • Ensure alignment between internal messaging and external brand positioning.

 

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a generalist role
  • Demonstrated experience with internal communications
  • Strong design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)
  • Experience with social media management tools
  • Familiarity with email marketing and drip campaigns (HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp, etc.)
  • Highly organized with strong project and timeline management skills

Salary Range

Estimated Range: $55,000 – $75,000
(Commensurate with experience and communications/design skill set)
