You will work with complex healthcare datasets—including pharmacies, hospitals, medical centres, and prescriber networks—to ensure accuracy, consistency, and meaningful interpretation of critical market information.

While the position involves working with spatial datasets, the primary focus is on pharmaceutical data structures, data governance, and analytical problem‑solving that supports commercial, operational, and strategic decision‑making across the healthcare ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain enterprise healthcare datasets, ensuring data quality, consistency, and operational efficiency.
  • Support the development and enhancement of pharmaceutical data assets, including pharmacy listings, prescriber data, and healthcare provider information.
  • Apply advanced SQL and Python to analyse complex schemas, automate workflows, and resolve data anomalies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver insights that support pharmaceutical clients, commercial teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure robust data governance practices across pharmacy, hospital, and healthcare provider datasets.
  • Contribute to the refinement of custom healthcare geographies and segmentation models (e.g., pharmacy banner groups, buying groups)

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Advanced SQL skills for querying and joining complex healthcare and pharmaceutical datasets.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for automation and data processing.
  • Strong Excel capabilities for validation, reporting, and quality assurance.
  • Solid understanding of pharmacy and healthcare data structures, including banner groups, buying groups, and provider classifications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and propose effective, scalable solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Python, and MS Excel.

Why Join Us?

  • Hybrid working structure (yes, you can work from home!)
  • Opportunity to work on impactful projects that shape the healthcare and pharmaceutical landscape.
  • Collaborative and innovative environment with strong industry exposure.
  • Chance to deepen your expertise in pharmaceutical data, healthcare analytics, and supporting geospatial concepts.
