AIMCo is seeking a knowledgeable and solution-driven HR professional to take the lead within our HR Operations team and champion excellence in service delivery across the organization. You will be the lead for HR inquiries and Workday processing, acting as a subject matter expert.In this key role, you will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and cross functional teams to ensure accurate, confidential, and efficient support for our people. You’ll leverage your Workday expertise to manage transactions, implement enhancements, and drive process improvements, while also researching, designing, and embedding best practice policies and procedures.

Responsibilities Include:
Lead, coach the HR Operations team by overseeing day-to-day team operations, setting priorities, allocating responsibilities, and providing clear direction, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Act as the primary escalation point of contact for complex, sensitive, or high-risk HR operations issues, applying sound judgment to resolving matters.
Actively engaged in day-to-day work using Workday, including reviewing transactions, coaching through complex cases, and troubleshooting issues alongside the team.
Lead audits and reviews of HR operations processes, identifying gaps, and opportunities for scalability to drive corrective action.
Act as a mentor and subject matter expert, offering guidance, training, and support to build internal capability and succession within the team.
Oversee employee data collection, analysis, and reporting; making sure the data is accurate.
Partner closely with our HRIS team to analyze, plan, build and test Workday improvements and enhancements based on business needs.
Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources and at least 5+ years of HR experience, including team lead responsibilities.
Expert understanding of Workday HCM Transactions, Offer Letters, Reorganizations, Testing and Business Process development and enhancements.
Working knowledge with Workday payroll module, payroll practices, and relevant legislation is considered an asset.
Experience with ticket management system (ServiceNow) is ideal, however not required.
Proven ability to triage and resolve complex issues in real time, balancing urgency, risk, and employee experience.
