JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position in St Paul, MN location supports our Medical Device organization that advances the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives and comprises of multiple businesses.
We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Senior Financial Analyst to join our team and lead advanced financial analysis, forecasting, and insights to influence strategic decision-making and support organizational objectives for our Medical Device IT organization. Position will engage with IT leaders to provide financial governance, forecasting and reporting on IT investments supporting six businesses within Medical Devices. Role will also support the consolidation of capital investment across Medical Device organization that represents six businesses and various HQ functions. Role has high visibility and engagement with senior leaders.
Position requires strong analytical, communication and organization skills. Role will require preparing financial presentation content for executive meetings, participating in various projects or tasks, coordinating with corporate finance, and supporting the quarterly LBE (latest best estimate) forecasting cycles.
What You'll Work On:
Budgeting and forecasting, cost management, capital management, and consolidation
Participates in ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by management.
Provides routine reports for senior leadership.
Partners with key businesses to provide month-end analysis and commentary related to the financial close cycle.
Executes annual goals and objectives as defined by the Finance team.
Prepares consolidated reporting, presentations, and analysis.
Compliant with regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees and business customers.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
4+ years of experience performing financial and variance analysis, forecasting, planning, and financial modeling.
Previous experience working with Hyperion Essbase, SAP, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) considered a plus.
Experience working with financial systems applications.
Previous experience working in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor.
Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner.
Strong organizational skills and demonstrates perseverance
The base pay for this position is
$78,000.00 – $156,000.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
