QualificationsUnder the general supervision of the HR Manager/Director, primarily responsible for sourcing recruiting, hiring and onboarding based candidates based on staffing needs. Maintains strict confidentiality of all privileged information.
Assist in designing and implementing the overall recruiting strategy
Sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, social media and professional organizations.
Conducting interviews and filtering candidates for open positions
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges.
Screen candidates resumes and job applications
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
Onboard new employees to become fully integrated
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
Ensures all records and information is held in confidence, viewed only by authorized individuals.
Maintains a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or GED required. A minimum of two (3) years’ direct experience in recruitment and HR related functions. Ability to conduct a variety of types of interviews. Experience with HRIS software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Must have computer experience, including working with Word, Excel, and Power Point. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in California and Arizona. Native American preference and/or experience with Native American culture and government preferred. Tribal preference given to qualified tribal members.
