About your team
Asset Management Operations (AMO) is the operational backbone of Fidelity International, crucial to the accurate, timely and efficient administration of our funds. Located in several global locations, we provide the middle and back-office functions for the company ranging from trade settlement, corporate action processing and NAV generation, through to the production of reports and accounts for our funds. In an industry that is becoming ever more complex it's essential that we are able to be creative and adaptable in the services and solutions we offer. About your role
This role will be part of the Fund Accounting Shared Services Team in India. The team is responsible for supporting to produce Net asset values, regulatory reports, tax data and distributions and to perform daily processes and controls to ensure the funds core accounting records are accurate and meet regulatory and accounting standards. A team member would perform tasks such as -
- Perform key daily / weekly / monthly processes to ensure the accounting records are accurate and up-to-date,
- Identification, analysis and escalation of exceptions in a timely manner
- Produce daily accounting data for input into the books and records of the funds that has not been automatically generated by the accounting platform,
- Perform controls on the accruals in the accounting system and investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Development and documentation of procedures
- Liaise with key stakeholders across Fidelity
About you

- Knowledge of the asset management industry
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and internal customers
- Strong analytical and investigations skills with an enquiring mind
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Good MS experience with emphasis on Excel
- Accurate and numerate
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Team player with collaborative attitude
- Willingness to work additional hours and bank holidays as the business dictates
