Site Manager

Valiant is seeking a skilled Site Manager to join our team.  The Site Manager job responsibilities include:

 

• All aspects of managing the Iwakuni site, which include administrative, personnel management and all contract requirements.
• Coordinate with the COR to ensure all contractual aspects of the contract are completed, including Manage day to day actions to ensure Valiant is providing quality service and support to the customer in the assigned area of operations.
• Provide all written reports and correspondence as stipulated in the Statement of Work.
• Ensure all Instructors/Technicians/Computer Operators are current and certified in accordance with the contract.
• Maintain personal currency and certifications as required by the contract.
• Maintain an effective training program for all Personnel with appropriate documentation in their training jackets.
• Update and maintain all programmatic instructions to include but not limited to current QHSE and Safety instructions.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of Computer Operator/Technician/CI positions to effectively ensure high productivity and quality service.
• Exhibit Leadership and Teambuilding skills.
• Coordinate with Valiant's ITAR compliance dept for logistics.
• Company Primary Point-of-Contact for site.
• Other duties as assigned.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:  Active Secret, TS/SCI preferred.

 

EDUCATION:  Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred. In lieu of education requirement, the Government may accept, with COR approval, actual (extensive) work related experience as a substitute.

• 10+ Years of managerial experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies, with 5 years at the operational/supervisory experience.
• Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English.
• Possess a US Passport or the ability to obtain one.
• DESIRED SKILLS:  Project Management; Supply Technician/Logistician, Fork Lift Driver Qualified; knowledge of ITAR requirements; Proposal Development experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical ability to walk on rugged, un-level surfaces, stand and/or sit for extended periods of time, and to climb two (2) flights of stairs and ladders is required.

• Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
