AEG Vision is seeking a Business Analyst -- Internet Services to own the strategy, operations, and cost management of all internet services across our national footprint. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable connectivity, cost efficiency, vendor accountability, and clean lifecycle management of internet circuits for all existing and newly acquired locations.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on telecom/ISP experience, strong vendor and project management skills, and a financially disciplined mindset with the ability to operate at scale and partner closely with third-party consolidation vendors and internal stakeholders.
Internet Services Technical Ownership (550+ Locations)
- Own and manage all ISP services across AEG Vision's portfolio of locations. This includes relationship will all our service providers.
- Ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective internet connections for clinical and business operations.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for internet service performance and issues.
- Actively monitor and manage
- ISP cost per location
- Circuit utilization and redundancy
- Identiy and eliminate
- Duplicate billing
- Inactive or unused circuits
- Non-contracted or out-of-policy service
- Drive continuous cost optimization and vendor consolidation.
Circuit Lifecycle Management
- Own the full lifecycle of internet circuits:
- Ordering and provisioning
- Installation and activation
- Contract renewals
- Timely disconnects of inactive circuits
- Ensure zero duplicate billing and no payments for non-active services.
- Maintain accurate records of all circuits, contracts, and billing details.
M&A & Acquisition Integration
- Partner with accounting and third-party telecom consolidation vendors to transition newly acquired practices into centralized enterprise level ISP contracts.
- Lead internet service discovery, validation, and transition activities during acquisitions.
- Ensure seamless cutover with minimal disruption to clinical operations.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with ISP vendors, telecom aggregators, and third-party consolidators.
- Enforce SLAs, pricing agreements, and service standards.
- Escalate and resolve chronic performance or billing issues.
Monitoring, Reporting & Governance
- Track and report on:
- Internet uptime and reliability
- Cost per site
- Savings from disconnects and renegotiations
- Develop dashboards and reporting to support IT leadership and finance.
- Establish and enforce standards for internet services across all locations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with:
- Infrastructure & Network teams
- Finance and Accounting
- M&A / Integration teams
- Practice Operations
- Support incident response and troubleshooting for ISP-related outages when necessary.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Networking, Telecommunications, or related field preferred
- Equivalent experience will be considered
Experience
- 7+ years experience managing ISP, telecom, or network services at scale
- Proven experience supporting multi-site environments (100+ locations preferred)
- Experience working with telecom aggregators and enterprise ISP contracts
- Strong background in circuit lifecycle management and billing oversight
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or multi-location retail environments
- Familiarity with SD-WAN or managed network services
- Experience partnering with finance on telecom audits and reconciliations
Technical & Operational Skills
- Solid understanding of:
- Internet connectivity types (Fiber, Cable, DSL, Wireless, LTE/5G)
- Network fundamentals (routing, firewalls, SD-WAN concepts)
- Experience with:
- ISP ordering, provisioning, and disconnect processes
- Telecom inventory and circuit tracking systems
- Strong analytical skills for cost and usage analysis
