About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Risk, Compliance & Governance Manager to lead and strengthen our enterprise-wide risk, compliance, and quality frameworks.
This role is critical in ensuring the organisation meets its regulatory obligations under the NDIS Practice Standards, Human Services Quality Framework, and Child Safe Standards, while supporting continuous improvement and organisational resilience.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will act as the organisation’s subject-matter expert on regulatory compliance, child safety, and governance, providing strategic and operational advice across all levels of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide risk, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Ensure policies, procedures, and controls remain current, evidence-based, and legislatively compliant
- Act as the organisation’s subject-matter expert on NDIS Commission and Child Safety requirements
- Manage regulatory reporting, audits, site visits, and accreditation processes
- Identify, assess, and monitor organisational risks across service delivery and operations
- Maintain risk registers and provide timely advice on emerging and high-risk issues
- Oversee incident management, complaints handling, and reportable incidents
- Lead internal audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Demonstrated experience in risk, compliance, or governance within NDIS or human services
- Strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and Child Safe legislation
- Experience engaging with regulators and auditors
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Minimum qualification at Diploma in Quality Auditing with at least 2 years of relevant experience
