The Opportunity
We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer to design, build, and support data pipelines, models, and dashboards that enable real-time reporting and data-driven decision making across the business.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their data engineering career who is keen to learn, contribute, and grow within a modern Microsoft and Azure-based data environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and support data pipelines ingesting data from ERP systems, APIs, IoT and telematics
- Assist with data modelling and integration for analytics and reporting
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for operational and strategic insights
- Provide Level 1 & 2 support for data and dashboard-related issues
- Assist with performance tuning and optimisation of data workflows
- Maintain technical documentation and data flow diagrams
About You
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or a related field
- 1–2 years’ experience in data, BI, dashboard or application development (internships/projects welcome)
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts
- Experience with Power BI and basic knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages
- Exposure to Azure and Microsoft Power Platform is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
