The Role
Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a reliable and motivated team member to service our Newcastle area based at our new Heatherbrae facility.
This is a hands-on role operating a HR Rear Lift Waste vehicle, ideal for someone who is eager to learn, flexible with tasks, and ready to support a close-knit team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Daily operation of front lift, rear loader and hook trucks for commercial and industrial waste collection
- Performing vehicle safety checks, load restraint, and documentation before and after runs
- Working to set schedules and maintaining excellent customer service on route
- Following all WHS, company and environmental procedures
- Assisting new drivers where required and supporting a strong team culture
About you
- Valid HR Licence (must be able to drive both manual and automatic trucks)
- Minimum 3 years’ HR truck driving experience
- A flexible and reliable attitude
- Experience operating waste industry vehicles (front lift, rear loader and hook lift trucks) – highly regarded
- Physically fit and able to pass drug & alcohol testing
- Presentable, with a professional attitude & great work ethic
- A team player with the ability to work independently
- Safety-conscious and proactive
