About the role

As the HR Coordinator, you will provide high-quality coordination, administration, and operational support across the full employee lifecycle, playing a key role in delivering a positive employee experience and supporting effective people operations across the business.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in payroll, return to work coordination or HR Administration who is eager to transition into a broader HR career. With structured support and mentoring, you will build capability across core HR disciplines, including employee relations and recruitment, while developing a strong understanding of end-to-end people operations in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a front-facing role, you will support our corporate, sales, and manufacturing teams and engage regularly across our onsite manufacturing facilities. You will be comfortable spending time on the factory floor, building strong relationships with employees and leaders, and providing visible, approachable HR support beyond the main office environment.

This is a permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday, site-based role located at our Head Office in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast. Candidates currently based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or regional Australia who are planning to relocate to the Sunshine Coast are encouraged to apply, as we welcome applicants willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate HR and payroll administration support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and leave management.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data to support payroll processing, compliance, and reporting.
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, including job advertising, interview scheduling, contracts, pre-employment checks, and new starter setup.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the HR team, assisting with routine HR, Recruitment and Payroll enquiries
  • Support day-to-day HR operations, compliance with workplace legislation and internal policies, and ongoing HR projects and initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships across corporate, sales, and manufacturing teams, contributing to a positive and service-focused HR function.

About you

  • Experience in HR administration, HR coordination, payroll, return-to-work, or a people operations role (highly regarded).
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation, Awards, and HR compliance requirements is desirable, with training and development provided to build capability in this area.
  • Experience using Employment Hero or a similar HRIS, with the willingness to become a go to system superuser.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proactive, well organised, and team oriented, with a strong service mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a front-facing role that supports corporate, sales, and manufacturing teams, including regular presence on the factory floor.
  • Confident building strong relationships with employees and leaders and providing visible, approachable HR support beyond the main office environment.
  • Eager to learn and develop capability across HR, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Demonstrated sound judgement, with the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
