About the role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to identify, pursue, and drive new partnership & sales opportunities for our AI Dubbing-as-a-Service (DaaS). You will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious growth plans in the media, entertainment, and localization markets by managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. This role, which reports directly to the CRO, requires a high degree of autonomy and self-management, as the successful candidate will often work independently while collaborating with senior leadership remotely.
Base salary: $100,000 – $150,000
Variable: up to 40% of base
Total OTE: $140,000 – $210,000

Responsibilities
- Find new business opportunities in the Media & Entertainment vertical.
- Drive inbound and outbound lead generation, effectively qualify prospects, and manage the sales pipeline from first contact through deal closure.
- Hit clear targets for pipeline creation, new logo acquisition, and revenue contribution.
- Conduct market research and segmentation for targeted account mapping.
- Prepare for and actively participate in global & local industry events, representing Deepdub and driving sales.
- Represent Deepdub in client meetings and sales calls.
Requirements
- 4+ years of prior experience in Business Development or Sales Development Representative (BDR/SDR) roles
- Experience working within the media and entertainment Industry – a must
- Experience working at a startup - a must
- Excel at networking and understanding clients’ organizations and expectations
- Outstanding self-management skills, self-driven & accountable
- Prior experience in small teams or with remote managers is highly valued.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required and work during the weekend.
