The Finance Manager will act as a strategic partner to senior management, delivering financial insights, managing forecasts, and leading initiatives to enhance business performance and operational excellence. This role requires advanced skills in financial management, communication, and collaboration across teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Month-End Support: Facilitate month-end processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial reporting and reconciliations.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Prepare, manage, and oversee the forecast and budget processes for designated business units, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Financial Insight: Deliver critical financial insights and strategic guidance to support informed decision-making.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with senior management, offering insights and recommendations to support achievement of business objectives.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyse business performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate key relationships with business unit and operating unit leaders to facilitate the availability and flow of financial information.

What we’re looking for:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; capability to leverage Excel in solving complex financial problems.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
  • Proven expertise in finance management, including month-end close, reporting, reconciliation, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strategic, agile, and commercial mindset with the ability to drive better business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality work within agreed timelines
