Fleetway is seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Configuration and Document Controller to join our Information Management Team in Dartmouth, NS. In this role, you will support the accuracy, organization, and flow of technical documentation across multiple projects. You’ll work alongside an experienced team of Configuration and Document Controllers and Technical Editors who are passionate about quality, compliance, and collaboration.
As a key contributor, you will be responsible for receiving, tracking, and monitoring technical drawings and documents; maintaining databases and logs; responding to internal and external document requests; and preparing Document Control reports. You will also ensure the accuracy of materials before cataloguing and support tasks such as distributing documentation, printing, photocopying, and folding as needed.
The ideal candidate brings post‑secondary education in Library Information Systems, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least two years of experience in Document Control or Configuration Management. You are proficient in Microsoft Office, comfortable managing high‑volume data entry, and known for your exceptional attention to detail. Experience with desktop publishing or PLM systems—such as Windchill—is considered an asset. Success in this role requires professional maturity, adaptability in a fast‑paced environment, and a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.

- Receive, track, and monitor technical drawings and documentation.
- Log drawing information into reports and maintain accurate document control databases.
- Respond to internal and external requests for drawings, documents, and related information.
- Generate Document Control reports and verify the accuracy and quality of all documents prior to cataloguing.
- Organize and forward documentation packages to clients and project teams.
- Support documentation handling tasks such as printing, photocopying, scanning, and folding.
- Ensure document control processes are followed and support continuous improvement of information management practices.
- University Degree or College Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- College graduates in Business Administration or Technologies with at least 2 years of related experience will also be considered.
