PeopleCert is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager – ITIL who will be responsible for defining and executing the global product marketing strategy for the ITIL® portfolio. Through a strong understanding of ITIL, IT Service Management, and enterprise technology audiences, the successful candidate will strengthen market positioning, support go-to-market execution, and drive commercial growth of ITIL worldwide.

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager – ITIL, your tasks will include the following:

  • Own and drive the global product marketing strategy for the ITIL portfolio
  • Define and maintain ITIL value propositions, positioning, and messaging across all customer segments
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for ITIL launches, updates, and lifecycle initiatives
  • Translate complex ITIL concepts into clear, customer-centric narratives demonstrating measurable business value
  • Work closely with Product Management to align market needs with the ITIL product roadmap
  • Enable Sales and Business Development teams with sales tools, messaging frameworks, and market insights
  • Conduct ongoing market, customer, and competitor analysis within the ITIL ecosystem
  • Support regional marketing teams with localized campaigns while ensuring global consistency
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation and Content teams on ITIL-focused campaigns and assets
  • Monitor and report on product marketing performance, adoption metrics, and business impact
  • Act as an internal ITIL subject-matter expert for senior stakeholders and leadership

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or a related field
  • Over 8 years of experience in Product Marketing or Portfolio Marketing, preferably in global environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with ITIL and IT Service Management frameworks
  • ITIL certification is required (ITIL 4 preferred)
  • Proven track record of delivering successful global go-to-market initiatives
  • Experience marketing complex frameworks, enterprise solutions, or technology products
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed organization
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English (C2 certification desired — LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL is a plus); additional languages welcome.
  • Advanced computer literacy; ECDL Advanced certification is desirable.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
  • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
  • Financial background check
  • Employment reference check.
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
