About the Role
Are you passionate about data, automation, and business intelligence? We are seeking a driven Management Accountant, BI & Automation to join our Finance team. Your primary objective will be to develop efficiencies and automation within our FP&A environment, elevating the quality of company intelligence on financials and forecasts. You will play a key role in preparing insightful reporting for local stakeholders, with a strong focus on BI tools and visualization dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and preparation of production forecasting and planning processes for the Australian and New Zealand distribution businesses, focusing on automating business processes and reducing manual work.
- Produce, coordinate, and publish local branch, broker, and competitor performance reporting, including self-serve dashboards in Power BI/QlikSense.
- Train users on how to interpret and utilize reports and dashboards.
- Contribute to the strategic development of Chubb’s BI infrastructure, including business application interfaces, data warehousing, and reporting applications.
- Collaborate with product, distribution, and other key stakeholders to ensure solutions meet evolving business needs.
- Launch accessible, reliable data visualization dashboards that provide actionable insights across cross-functional teams.
- Support the development of ad-hoc business reports for senior management to aid in decision-making.
- Implement continuous process improvements using tools such as Alteryx, Power Query, and VBA.
Your Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in Accounting and/or Financial Management and working towards CPA/CA membership.
- 2–3 years of commercial finance experience, preferably in an FP&A environment.
- Passion for data and helping others use it; excitement for analyzing large, complex data sets and translating them into actionable business insights.
- Intermediate/Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI (or equivalent BI tools), and SQL; strong database query knowledge and proficiency in SQL coding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience using TM1, PeopleSoft, Meridian, Genius, Cognos is desirable.
