
About this role
Role Overview:
The Senior Risk Analyst provides day-to-day leadership, guidance, training and development to direct subordinates, ensuring that they meet departmental objectives.
This role also supports the Head of GIRM in driving efficient operations and maintaining gaming integrity and risk management at the forefront of the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that Risk Analyst team operates with high standards, meets set objectives and direct subordinates understands and follows the policies.
Provide support, guidance, and assistance to direct reports in all areas of their responsibilities.
Plan, monitor, and evaluate staff performance, while mentoring and fostering professional development, as well as prepare, maintain and deliver internal training for direct subordinates.
Drive operational efficiency by identifying and removing unnecessary complexity in department processes.
Manage resources effectively to deliver optimal solutions.
Handle administrative tasks, including reviewing and approving schedule change requests from direct subordinates.
Assist in maintaining and updating departmental documents and manuals to ensure the GIRM team uses current and accurate documentation.
Support technical investigations and risk assessment verifications, including major or critical incidents.
Communicate with operators and relevant authorities as needed.
Assist the manager in facilitating smooth operations and ongoing development of the department.
Provide coverage for colleagues during vacations, sick leave, and other absences.
Qualifications & Skills:
Specialized knowledge in gaming security, risk and fraud management is required.
Previous experience in a mentoring or managerial role is essential.
In-depth understanding of in-house gaming procedures, as well as the department’s internal functions and processes.
Mathematically minded, combined with forward-thinking, self-driven, and quick-learning attributes.
Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken).
