Title: Technical Project Manager

Job Description
The Technical Project Manager will lead cross-functional projects within the deployments sector, focusing on solution readiness for NCR Voyix’s clients. A technical project manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, combining deep technical expertise with project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to requirements, acting as a bridge between the business and technical aspects of a project by aligning technical solutions with business objectives and communicating complex details to stakeholders across all levels. Expertise with NCR Voyix’s Aloha POS or Aloha Cloud solutions a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
Project planning and execution: Develop detailed project plans, establish timelines, and manage project phases to achieve milestones.
Technical expertise: Understand and evaluate relevant technologies, architectures, and tools to ensure project feasibility and quality.
Stakeholder communication: Clearly communicate project status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders at all levels, including clients, business leaders, and technical teams.
Risk mitigation: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues that may impact project success.
Quality assurance: Ensure technical deliverables meet quality standards and comply with project requirements.
Team leadership: Motivate and guide the technical team, providing support and resolving technical challenges.
Technology evaluation: Research and recommend new technologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
5+ years of technical project management experience.
Experience in the hospitality industry; familiarity with Aloha POS or Aloha Cloud is highly preferred.
Knowledge of restaurant operations or hospitality technology solutions
Organizational skills: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Project management skills: Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, risk management, and change control methodologies.
Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
Leadership abilities: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Problem-solving skills: Analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
Collaboration skills: Work effectively with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
