About this role

It's fun to work in a company where people truly believe in what they are doing!

Step into a high‑impact regional role where your tax expertise will shape compliance and reporting across a diverse portfolio of entities in EMEA and APAC. As Tax Manager - EMEA & APAC, you will oversee corporate tax and VAT/indirect tax for approximately 20 legal entities, working closely with senior stakeholders, regional finance teams and external advisors. This is an opportunity to apply your technical skills in a complex international environment, contribute to robust tax governance, and support an organisation with global reach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate external accounting firms in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and year‑end tax provisions for entities across EMEA and APAC.

  • Oversee all corporate tax and VAT/indirect tax reporting and compliance requirements (including Pillar 2, CbCR and equivalent APAC obligations), ensuring timely and accurate filings.

  • Support and review intercompany transfer pricing studies, monitor intercompany transactions throughout the year, and assist with the development and implementation of transfer pricing policies and intercompany contracts.

  • Prepare and review monthly reconciliations of corporate tax and VAT/indirect tax accounts, ensuring appropriate controls, documentation and systems requirements are in place.

  • Manage inquiries, reviews and audits from tax authorities in relevant jurisdictions, providing robust, well‑documented responses and recommendations.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (including Controlling, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Accounts Receivable) to provide practical tax guidance on day‑to‑day transactions and support financial audits, tax modelling and other ad‑hoc projects.

Job Requirements

  • Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) with substantial post‑qualification experience.

  • Typically 6+ years' experience in a professional services or industry environment, with strong exposure to multinational corporate tax.

  • Proven experience in corporate tax compliance and tax provisioning, together with practical experience of VAT/indirect tax in multi‑jurisdictional settings.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and manage external advisors, and to oversee tax matters for multiple legal entities.

  • Strong technical skills, including experience with large ERP systems (such as Sage or SAP, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities for managing complex data sets and models.

  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to present technical and numerical information clearly to non‑specialist stakeholders and to work effectively across regions and cultures.

  • Eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with applicable right to work legislation, and a commitment to complying with all relevant company policies, including those relating to GDPR, confidentiality, health and safety, anti‑bribery and equal opportunities.

Desirable (not essential): Experience with EMEA and APAC tax environments, prior experience in a US‑headquartered multinational group, familiarity with SOX or similar internal control frameworks, experience with tax technology and automation tools, and additional language skills relevant to EMEA or APAC jurisdictions.

What We Offer

  • An inclusive, collaborative working environment where colleagues are treated with dignity and respect, in line with our equal opportunities and anti‑discrimination commitments.

  • Exposure to a broad range of complex tax matters across EMEA and APAC, offering significant professional challenge and development.

  • Opportunities for ongoing professional development, including support for relevant continuing professional education.

  • Flexible working arrangements (hybrid, remote or onsite, subject to business needs and local policy) to support work‑life balance.

  • A standard benefits package and the stability of working within an international, growth‑oriented organisation.

If you are a commercially minded tax professional seeking a broad international remit and the opportunity to drive high standards of tax compliance and reporting, we would welcome your application. Please press Apply to submit your application. All applications will be considered on merit, in line with our commitments under the Equality Act 2010 and data protection legislation.
