Job Summary
Optimizes manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Develops and implements production plans to meet quality and safety standards.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and productivity of the manufacturing process.
- Analyze the manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for optimization, which can include reducing waste, streamlining production, and improving quality.
- Develop and implement new production systems, including layout design, material handling systems, and production control systems related.
- Ensure that the manufacturing processes comply with regulations and standards related to safety, quality, and environmental protection.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure that the manufacturing processes are aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Be responsible for training industrial engineering tools, such as SMED, Line balance, VSM, etc., to ensure that the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Conduct performance evaluations and identify areas for improvement and provide feedback and coaching.
- Continually review and improve the manufacturing processes to ensure that the company remains competitive and efficient
Critical Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Industry Engineering role in MNC industrial environment.
- Be familiar with assembly manufacturing, luminaires industry is preferred.
- Rich experience in lean production management.
- Good communication skill and interpersonal skill will be a plus.
- Must be Familiar with office software (Excel, Word, Power point. CAD, etc.)
- Workable oral, listening and reading English is a must
