As a coverage banker, you will be the primary banker looking after a portfolio of Korea-headquartered clients. You will be part of a high energy, vibrant team to further build out our successful corporate banking franchise. Alongside managing existing client relationships, your core responsibility will be to drive new client development and onboarding across the Korea mid-cap sector.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will manage a portfolio of 25+ clients, focusing on acquiring and developing new client relationships and strengthening existing relationships to expand wallet share.
  • You will be responsible for developing and executing account plans for your client portfolio, collaborating closely with product partners to drive cross-selling opportunities.
  • You will lead all KYC and credit-related work to facilitate processes and ensure timely approvals from internal approvers and committees.
  • You will conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgan's broad array of corporate banking products across financing solutions, capital markets, risk management, treasury and securities services and asset management.

 Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum  10 years of relevant working experience in Corporate Banking with broad coverage experience of the Korea Corporate sector greatly preferred.
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of transaction banking, FX and derivatives, commodities, and securities processing.
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills.
  • Credit trained and experience with structuring & execution of syndicated/leveraged loans, etc.
  • Team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English.
