JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
- Systems testing.
- Works in Autonomy Connectivity/Systems Engineering.
- Works with software, remote control (RC), machine electronics, and V&V teams.
- Coordinates with suppliers and field test teams.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work alongside development engineers to test software releases of a new product. This includes driving passenger vehicles for real world testing and documenting results. You will also work with third party vendors on requirements and performance feedback.
- Hands‑on debugging with Linux/network tools.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Years of experience: 3-5 years
- Degree requirement: Bachelor’s in EE, CE, CS, Network/Systems Engineering.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Networking & connectivity design (LTE/5G, routing, bonded cellular).
- Systems integration & troubleshooting.
- Test strategy and execution for embedded/edge systems.
- IP networking fundamentals.
- LTE/5G and/or bonded cellular experience.
- Linux config/debug.
- Wireshark, iperf, tcpdump, etc.
- Test plan creation/execution.
- Requirements tools (Jama/Doors).
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Expertise / Understanding of machine performance, controls and software development
- Some expertise in Dynasty tool
- Some understanding of truck applications
- Some understanding of Autonomous operations
