A Snapshot
As an Accountant reporting to the Associate Manager, Finance in Singapore, you will work closely with the broader finance team based in Singapore, Australia and Japan as well as other departments across the business, making an impact in a number of ways:
- Supporting the Singapore finance team in relation to regional financial operations process, month-end, year-end closing and other ad-hoc assignments as required.
- Be instrumental in helping AirTrunk define leading practice and driving out key improvements through simplification and standardisation.

Your Day to Day
- Responsible for managing the month-end close process, including preparing accruals and prepayments, recording bank entries, handling VAT/GST matters and managing intercompany accounting.
- Prepares general ledger journals and month-end schedules and performs bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Conducts monthly actual versus budget variance analysis and provides insights to management.
- Enhances financial governance by implementing, enforcing, and strengthening strong internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Participates in process improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.
- Manages day-to-day finance operations in collaboration with overseas teams and external stakeholders.
- Assists with regional tax matters, including VAT/GST and corporate tax filings and supports statutory compliance across relevant jurisdictions.
- Contributes to the continuous development of the finance team through operational improvements and technology-driven solutions that enhance productivity and accuracy.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience with NetSuite or Yardi is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organised, and demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and regional teams.
- Desire and ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
