About the Role
As a Compliance Analyst, you'll play a vital role in our second line of defense, helping to identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in compliance while contributing to the integrity of our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in designing and executing compliance monitoring programmes and reviews
• Support the identification and analysis of compliance risks across the organization
• Help assess the design and operating effectiveness of existing controls mitigating compliance risks
• Monitor and track the timely resolution of identified compliance issues
• Prepare reports on testing results and compliance findings for senior management
• Provide support in investigations and special projects as needed
• Assist in providing compliance monitoring results for internal and external reporting
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across different business units and group functions
About the Team
Compliance Assurance is a global team responsible for providing assurance oversight of Code of Conduct, Global Compliance Frameworks and material local regulatory requirements across the Swiss Re Group on a risk-based basis. The team serves as the primary liaison with Group Internal Audit (GIA), Operational Risk Management (ORM), and other governance functions, facilitating coordination among risk and control functions and Compliance units in relation to Compliance Assurance activities.

You are detail-oriented and analytical with a curious mindset and strong communication skills. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues across different functions and markets, and are eager to learn and grow in the compliance field. Your adaptability and organizational skills allow you to thrive in a dynamic environment.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (qualification in Law, Business or Finance is a plus)
• 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or audit in the financial services industry
• Strong skills in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation and analysis
• Understanding of compliance principles, monitoring and/or audit methodologies, and risk and control frameworks
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
These are additional nice to haves:
• Experience in the (re)insurance industry
• Knowledge of data analytics tools to enhance compliance monitoring activities (Power BI and Stargate)
• Project coordination experience
• Additional language skills
The base salary range for this position will be shared with you during the interview process.
