Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur
Overall Summary of the role:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will serve as a candidate advocate and consultative partner to internal teams, responsible for recruiting permanent, contract, and contract-to-hire talent. This role is a 3-month contract specifically for Maternity Cover.
You will work across disciplines, focusing largely on roles within the agency. You must be highly proficient in candidate generation and sourcing, and be able to deliver quality talent with minimal lead time.
This role is ideal for a process-oriented individual that is able to manage a high volume of requisitions without sacrificing candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and screen qualified candidates by leveraging internet job boards, employee referrals, search engines, and web resume mining techniques.
- Posting of job adverts via Greenhouse.
- Manage candidates seamlessly through the interview process; set expectations, provide thoughtful feedback, negotiate and close all offers.
- Provide regular status updates to the HR Manager and Hiring Managers on recruitment for open positions.
- Partner with Hiring Managers to identify key requirements and set recruitment strategy for designated roles.
- Proactively develop pools of qualified candidates in advance of need, focusing on digital talent.
- Schedule in-person and phone interviews across multiple time zones.
- Maintain various recruitment tracking and reports, and enhance existing reports where applicable.

- Candidate Experience: Enhancing the candidate journey to ensure a positive experience.
- Effective Screening: Conducting thorough assessments to identify best-fit candidates.
- Pipeline Management: Building and maintaining a robust talent pipeline for future needs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their needs.
- Employer Branding: Promoting the organization as an employer of choice.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilizing analytics to optimize recruitment processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- MUST have experience recruiting digital marketing roles and be well-versed in technical roles.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3+ years of experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
- Successful track record recruiting and filling digital marketing media roles.
- Proactive contributor, eager to further develop and learn the media industry.
- Organized and process-oriented approach to staffing and onboarding.
- Mastery of LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Proficient using Greenhouse.
- Professional and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Superior strategic thinking and solid analytical skills.
- Sincere desire to work in a team environment.
