The Workforce Data Analyst will lead business-wide initiatives working with cross-functional teams to develop insights for decision-makers. You'll be a data consultant, and security/privacy advocate.
We Innovate to shape the future of CRE, so in this role you will:
Executive Advisory and Strategic Consulting
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, conducting high-level executive briefings that translate complex workforce data into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations
- Develop and facilitate executive workshops that deep-dive into critical challenges, using data-driven insights to inform transformative business decisions
Innovative Analytical Approach
- Develop storytelling methodologies that transform complex data into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with executive leadership and drive strategic decision-making
- Continuously explore and implement cutting-edge analytical technologies and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge in analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure that analytics and reporting are aligned with company priorities, support everyday business needs and facilitate informed decision making
- Develop reporting support for leaders, and people managers, with a focus on self-service reporting and building dashboards in Microsoft PowerBI
- Support special projects and prepare ad hoc reports upon request from key stakeholders and company leaders
- Research and identify benchmarking, best practices and market talent trends, making recommendations for enhancements that will solidify Berkadia’s competitive position as an employer of choice in the Commercial Real Estate, Financial Services, and Technology industries.
Advanced Reporting and Insights Development
- Develop advanced visualization and reporting tools in Microsoft PowerBI that enable self-service analytics for leadership, with a focus on intuitive, actionable dashboards
- Create comprehensive measurement methodologies that go beyond traditional metrics, providing holistic views of human capital value and potential
We are passionate about your growth, so to achieve success in this role you should have:
Minimum Position Qualifications
- 3+ years data analysis experience, with a focus on bringing structure, process, and clarity to complex topics
- Experience with data extraction/wrangling from multiple systems
- Strong storytelling/presentation skills; ability to effectively persuade and influence others using data
- Advanced analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to synthesize complex data and analytics into visually appealing, easy-to-understand reporting
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of sensitive information
- Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerBI, Excel, and PowerPoint
- High degree of organizational savvy; comfortable working with all levels of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a field that emphasizes data analysis (e.g. Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences).
- Experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python) a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.
- Understands how data will be used when requested and uses strong judgement to adjudicate requests for PII or other HR or personnel information that is kept confidential.
