Position Summary
In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the various disciplines to source, select, hire and onboard talented resources for KBR. Your key accountabilities will range from managing open requisitions, screening candidate applications, coordinating interview requests, and actively facilitating successful candidate interview days. Your high customer service orientation, attention to detail and outstanding communication skills make you an integral part of supporting our ongoing hiring needs.
The role of a Senior Recruiter focuses on developing your recruiting capability within multiple Discipline/businesses to help hone your candidate evaluation skills whilst delivering great candidate experience. You will have specialist or SME knowledge about the recruitment trends and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Source key talent and build proactive pipelines through CRM platforms, direct outreach, employee referrals, and job fairs.
- Deliver an engaging candidate experience by understanding candidate motivators, influencing factors, and effectively evaluating talent.
- Develop and enhance recruitment processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness; identify opportunities to strengthen sourcing and selection strategies.
- Solve complex recruitment problems using detailed knowledge of the field and industry best practices, under general supervision.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members as needed.
- Manage and update requisitions through completion, ensuring real‑time system accuracy; review offer letters and employment agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, candidate interactions, and applicant data.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Provide system support serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Workday Recruiting and related processes.
- Create reports and analyze hiring trends to support workforce planning.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize recruitment operations.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of recruitment practices, vendor management, and current industry trends.
Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Master’s Degree in HR or Business Administration or equivalent. (Masters Preferred)
- 8-15 years’ experience within a Recruiting team, ideally onsite or supporting an in-house team.
- Expert level experience with Applicant Tracking Systems-workday and administrative tools
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experienced users of Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Capability to interact with people across all levels of business with a focus on building high-quality relationships
- Capability to manage and prioritize a high volume of requests in a fast-paced environment
