Job Description

Senior Product Owner - Cardiovascular Informatics

As a Senior Product Owner you will oversee the Cardiovascular Next Generation way of working, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and driving the transformation of complex cardiovascular products into a modern, future‑ready architecture.

Your role:

  • As the Senior Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the next generation of cardiovascular digital solutions. You will guide a horizontal roadmap across an extensive portfolio—including highly complex platforms such as ISCV and Xper—as they evolve into contemporary architectures, modules, and code bases.
  • You will collaborate closely with product management to support product strategy definition and drive roadmap decisions. This includes coordinating across business units to leverage internal Philips products and ensuring “One Philips” synergy.
  • In partnership with User Experience teams, you will act as the customer proxy, guiding agile teams to deliver priority features that enhance customer value and meet clinical expectations. You will define, prioritize, and accept epics, functional and non‑functional requirements, and ensure the quality and execution of features across program increments.
  • You will work with business owners, design teams, architects, product management, Q&R and software leaders to craft the vision and shape the program backlog. You will prepare for and lead program increment planning, safeguard conceptual and technical integrity throughout the lifecycle, and ensure that Philips develops exceptional digital solutions for Cardiovascular customers.
  • From flexible hybrid working to broad development opportunities, a career at Philips includes a wide range of benefits to support work–life balance, growth, and wellbeing. Speak to your recruiter to learn more about the benefits available in your region.

You're the right fit if you:

  • Hold a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Have 5 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 3 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Software Development, Software Design and Architecture, Testing and Quality Assurance or equivalent.
  • Hold 7+ years of product owner or product management experience
  • Have proven experience managing stakeholders across multiple business units, including engagement with senior‑level stakeholders.
  • Have experience working within highly complex product environments, coordinating with multiple agile teams and managing cross‑team dependencies.
  • Have experience defining program increment objectives and aligning content priorities across teams or trains within a scaled agile environment.
  • The ability to make data‑driven decisions, translate customer needs into functional and non‑functional requirements, and identify system or capability gaps.
  • Have demonstrated cardiovascular domain expertise gained through previous roles in cardiovascular informatics, clinical systems, or related health‑technology environments.
  • Have a track record of contributing to or leading the introduction of new cardiovascular modules, products, or services.
  • Fluent English language skills, with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is an office role.
