Job Description Summary
As a Summer Intern – Systems Engineer, you will participate in systems engineering activities, helping engineering team to release the next generation patient monitor devices and systems. You will be involved in critical documentation, testing and verification tasks, and get invaluable insights into a highly regulated medical industry where we design and develop products that save people’s lives. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from various engineering teams and stakeholders (software, hardware, manufacturing, management) and contribute to different areas of product development. You will be working with the top experts in the medical device industry and learn from them. The work can be started as soon as the right candidate is available, also before the summer.Patient Care Solutions develop medical devices and technologies that help sustain life, and support patient care in every setting throughout the hospital environment. Our teams use every moment to provide clinicians and frontline caregivers with a variety of life-changing medical solutions in monitoring, diagnostic cardiology, acute care, anesthesia and respiratory care, and maternal and infant care.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Perform test and verification activities according to pre-defined procedures.
- Prepare various engineering documentation to comply with our Quality Management System requirements and Standards guidelines.
- Participate in planning and review activities in cooperation with other stakeholders.
Qualifications and experience
- Currently pursuing or has recently graduated with BS/MS degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or Physics.
- Good documentation skills, attention to detail and ability to see the big picture.
- Curious, self-driven, eager to learn, collaborative, and able to find information independently.
- Analytical, able to process large amounts of data and documentation effectively.
- Creative thinker with excellent communication skills, good spoken and written English.
Desirable skills
- Experience working with standards and regulatory documentation.
- Knowledge of and experience working with SW testing, verification and releasing activities.
- Experience working with SW development tools and methods.
- Knowledge of and passion to utilize AI tools and technologies.
