Our enthusiastic and ambitious staff work out of offices in Central Manchester and Central London, with hybrid working options available. Colleagues typically work from home four days a week, with one day in the office.

The NRLA package:

Location:
Home-based with travel across England as required.
Proximity to Manchester can be helpful for occasional in-person collaboration, but this is not essential. Candidates from all locations are encouraged to apply but there is a commitment to work in the Manchester office one day per week.
Main Purpose And Scope Of Job:
As part of our dynamic marketing team, you will create engaging video content that supports key campaigns and enhances our digital presence.
You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across events, commercial, policy, social, and product teams to develop high-quality, on-brand
video outputs that meet project needs and strengthen member engagement.
This role involves leading video shoots, managing equipment, and producing content that resonates with a wide audience. You’ll work flexibly across multiple projects, adapting to changing priorities while bringing fresh, creative ideas grounded in current trends and best practices.
Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Develop video content that increases awareness of our products and services.
- Capture live-action footage for various digital channels, including social media and DOOH.
- Film and edit original content aligned with organisational goals and brand identity.
- Create short-form social content from longer productions such as interviews, podcasts, and testimonials.
- Ideate and produce creative concepts that support marketing funnels and audience engagement.
- Capture internal content that showcases our culture, people, and partnerships.
- Create a mix of polished and organic content suited for different platforms and audiences.
- Work flexibly to support occasional travel, events, and industry activities. Any out-of-hours work will be planned with notice and can be balanced flexibly.
Delivery & Impact:
- Contribute to a cohesive digital presence that builds trust and awareness among target audiences.
- Support measurable improvements in reach and engagement through thoughtful, data-informed content.
- Collaborate openly with colleagues to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and messaging.
What you need to be great at in this role:
- Skills in cinematography, storyboarding, editing, and professional camera/audio operation.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to delivering
- high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong creative storytelling skills and a passion for both videography and design.
- Clear communication skills, enabling you to collaborate with colleagues from all disciplines.
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to maintain and use our digital asset management system.
- Willingness to collaborate with non-creative stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
Required:
- Typically, 3–5 years of videography and editing experience (agency, freelance, or in-house). Equivalent experience demonstrated through a portfolio is also welcome.
- High proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and related software.
- Experience working with professional camera, audio, and lighting equipment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing both short-form and long-form video content.
- Understanding of video trends, aesthetics, pacing, tone, and effective editing for different platforms.
- Skills in animation or motion graphics for use in digital content and infographics.
- Optional: Interest or comfort appearing on camera or
- contributing photography skills on occasion, though this is not required for success.
