This new position within Bowens offers a unique chance to take on a hands-on hybrid opportunity at our brand new Heidelberg location. The Sales Assistant will undertake a combination of counter sales and internal sales responsibilities.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Be the first face the customer sees as they enter the branch and welcome them with a warm greeting
  • Ensure all hardware deliveries are put away and shelves are fully stocked
  • Serving customers and ensuring they receive an outstanding customer experience
  • Processing orders and quotes in an efficient, accurate and prompt manner
  • Build and continue developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaising with various suppliers to source products and information for customers
  • Working to the standards set in the Bowens Blueprint

We are looking for an individual who possess the below skills:

  • Ideally, prior experience in a sales support/administration position processing orders and quotes.
  • Possess a 'Customer Comes First' attitude with sound planning, organisational and attention to detail skills
  • Strong communication skills both over the phone and via email.
  • A willingness to learn and have fun whilst getting the job done
  • Strong relationship building, analytical and problem solving skills
  • A sales mindset with the ability to contribute to store KPI’s
