About the Role:
We’re looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across our U.S. and Quebec locations. In this role, you’ll ensure compliance with employment laws, drive talent acquisition and onboarding, support employee relations, and drive culture and engagement initiatives. This role partners closely with leadership to align HR programs with organizational goals and deliver a consistent, positive employee experience across all sites.

In this role, you’ll ensure compliance with employment laws, drive talent acquisition and onboarding, support employee relations, and drive culture and engagement initiatives. This role partners closely with leadership to align HR programs with organizational goals and deliver a consistent, positive employee experience across all sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Policy Administration
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws across U.S. and Quebec locations.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Oversee required government reporting.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Lead recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage job postings, job descriptions, screening, and interviews.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation.
Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary contact for employee concerns and workplace issues.
- Conduct internal investigations related to performance, conduct, or harassment.
- Advise managers on employee relations best practices.
Training & Development
- Identify organization‑wide training needs.
- Coordinate leadership, compliance, performance, and safety training programs.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Coordination
- Administer compensation and benefits programs for U.S. and Quebec employees.
- Benchmark compensation and recommend adjustments.
- Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy.
Performance Management
- Manage the performance review cycle.
- Coach managers on performance documentation and coaching.
HR Systems, Reporting & Recordkeeping
- Maintain accurate HR records and oversee HRIS data integrity.
- Complete Groupe Rossignol HR reporting requirements.
Engagement & Culture
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
- Reinforce company mission, values, and culture across all teams.
Cross‑Border HR Coordination
- Support visas, relocations, and mobility needs.
- Ensure HR alignment between U.S. and Quebec sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience.
- Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian employment laws.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Work Environment & Travel
- Primarily office‑based with periodic visits to operational environments.
- Occasional travel to Ogden (UT), Bromont (QC), and other company locations.
