The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and Data Engineering/Analytics teams to ensure data-driven solutions align with business goals, standards, and governance requirements.As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in client engagement, advanced modeling, and analytics delivery. You will lead analytical initiatives, develop predictive and optimization models, communicate insights effectively, and contribute to scalable data solutions using modern analytics and MLOps practices.

The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and Data Engineering/Analytics teams to ensure data-driven solutions align with business goals, standards, and governance requirements.As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in client engagement, advanced modeling, and analytics delivery. You will lead analytical initiatives, develop predictive and optimization models, communicate insights effectively, and contribute to scalable data solutions using modern analytics and MLOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently engage with client leadership and lead project discussions to align on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide analytical leadership across multiple initiatives and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Support additional project needs as required.
- Design, develop, and deploy analytical models including forecasting, classification, regression, and segmentation.
- Conduct A/B testing, causal analysis, and optimization modeling (linear, mixed-integer, multi-objective).
- Perform rigorous model validation, diagnostics, monitoring, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Execute complex data analyses and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
- Develop executive-ready presentations and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
- Present results clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Partner with business and engineering teams to gather requirements, define business rules, and translate needs into technical specifications and documentation.
- Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and maintain data-quality monitoring and reporting frameworks.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and validate database changes prior to release.
- Use Databricks for scalable data processing and analytics workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement MLOps practices, including MLflow pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Use Git/GitLab for version control and collaborative development.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Develop KPIs and metrics that inform business decisions.
- Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders, including handling sensitive or complex inquiries.
Required Skills:
- Advanced SQL and Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong experience working with databases and data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks for large-scale data processing and machine learning.
- Proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI for visualization and reporting.
- Experience with Git/GitLab for version control.
- Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAS and R.
- Familiarity with automotive or VIN-related data.
- Experience working with large, complex data structures and MDM concepts.
- Exposure to MLOps practices and frameworks.
Eligibility / Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
