About this role

Who We Are
OPLOG is the tech engine behind seamless e‑commerce fulfillment for top brands across Türkiye, Europe, and the US. By fusing in‑house software with robotics and automation, we erase the line between the physical and digital worlds—delivering post‑purchase experiences that turn customers into fans and giving our clients an unfair competitive edge.
We’re building a world-class robotic fulfillment ecosystem, and we’re looking for curious minds to shape the future with us.

What You'll Do
  • Own the end-to-end electrical lifecycle of Good-to-Person AGV robots and warehouse automation systems, from design and sourcing to commissioning and operation.
  • Design, integrate, and maintain electrical systems including motors, sensors, drives, safety devices, and power systems, configuring required industrial communication protocols.
  • Own the selection and sourcing of key electrical subsystems (e.g. batteries, BMS, drives, motors, sensors, safety components), including vendor research, technical evaluation, supplier coordination, and support of procurement and onboarding processes.
  • Own the integration, commissioning, and performance validation of selected components within robotic platforms and fixed warehouse infrastructure.
  • Design electrical schematics, control and safety panels, and system-level power distribution architectures for robots and automation equipment.
  • Design and standardize robot and infrastructure cable harnesses, field cabling, and connector solutions with a focus on reliability, EMC compliance, manufacturability, and serviceability.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of warehouse automation systems including conveyor systems, vertical conveyors, sortation and induction systems, control and safety panels, Goods-to-Person pick/put stations, and supporting warehouse automation infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control issues across AGVs and live warehouse systems, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate closely with controls, software, mechanical, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless interaction between mobile robots and fixed automation systems.
  • Actively support prototype, pilot, and production systems during system bring-up, site acceptance tests (SAT), and production ramp-up.
  • Develop and maintain electrical documentation including schematics, panel layouts, I/O lists, cable lists, assembly, installation, and maintenance instructions.
  • Drive continuous improvements in system reliability, maintainability, safety, and operational uptime.
  • Research new technologies and best practices in robotics and industrial automation and lead their adoption into products and warehouse systems.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong experience in electrical design and system ownership for robotic systems and industrial automation.
  • Hands-on experience with robot cabling, industrial panels, field wiring, connector selection, and wire harness design.
  • Proficient in industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, PROFINET, Modbus, and CANopen.
  • Hands-on experience with EtherCAT-based servo drives and motion systems.
  • Solid knowledge of Li-ion battery technologies, charge/discharge behavior, and battery management systems (BMS), especially for mobile robotic platforms.
  • Comfortable working in operational warehouse environments, supporting running systems and taking ownership of on-site issues.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a builder and owner mindset.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience applying FMEA to electrical and electromechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of power budget analysis, load calculations, and system-level power distribution.
  • Familiarity with EMC/EMI design principles, grounding strategies, shielding, and cable segregation.
  • Understanding of functional safety standards (ISO 13849) and safety circuit design.
  • Experience with professional E-CAD tools (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar).
  • Knowledge of configuration and change management (BOMs, revision control, ECN/ECR).
  • Experience applying DFM/DFA principles to deliver production-ready designs.
  • Background in tech-enabled fulfillment or warehouse automation environments integrating AGVs with fixed automation systems.
