•The position in discussion is with Capability Hubs (CH) Deal Advisory Research team at KPMG Global Services (KGS), which is an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability. CH Deal Advisory Research is a multi-capability team delivering insights and sales enablement support to KPMG member firms. This unit is currently 110+ members’ strong capability.

Key attributes:

·We are recruiting for an Analyst in the Deal Advisory Research team. Working as an Analyst in the team, your responsibilities will include: ·Contribute to recurring client projects (daily/weekly deliverables) such as, M&A reports, IPO trackers, and  buy-side and sell side deal trackers, executive profiling, sector newsletters  or any ad-hoc data pull requests such as commodity pricing, industry reports, as a part of business development efforts conducted by the client ·Provide research support on client deliverables (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word) and prepare client ready and error free outputs while adhering to project timelines and effort estimates ·Work with appropriate supervision and guidance from Senior Analyst/Team Lead/Assistant Manager/ and independently lead simpler modules of projects ·Work collaboratively with onshore KPMG teams in the development of and delivery of presentations and key findings  

Education / professional qualifications

•Education Qualification: BBA/B.tech/B.Com/Any

Prior Experience:

•Candidate with 0-1 years of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in a leading consulting firm (e.g. other Big 4, global investment bank, leading research house), will be given preference

Technical and Behavioral Skills:

•Proficiency in MS Office •Highly articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills •Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and draw insights •Good knowledge of secondary research sources (e.g. S&P Capital IQ, MergerMarkets, ThomsonOne) would be an advantage •Knowledge of tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc. will be an added edge •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Attention to detail •Prioritization and effective time management skills •Effective team player
