This is fully remote position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Analyze data ecosystems and workflows to identify optimization, improve interoperability, and resolve technical inefficiencies.
Assess data pipeline designs against requirements to identify gaps and suggest remediations.
Provide expertise in cloud-based database tools design and operations to optimize data management processes.
Assess compliance with data requirements, formats, sharing agreements, and DoD data policies.
Support data archival needs and facilitate data modification/transformation as required.
Manage data libraries and oversee data flows to ensure efficient and secure data management practices.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand and address data service requirements effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree.
10+ years’ technical experience, with a strong background in IT consulting, data engineering, systems integration, or enterprise architecture.
8+ years’ experience data management including unstructured, geospatial, or sensor-based data.
Experience with cloud migration projects and related technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Proven ability to analyze complex customer problems and propose technical solutions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.
Previous experience in a technical consulting role for large-scale government or enterprise transformation projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience supporting Department of War (DoW) or US Air Force (USAF) programs.
Experience with creating, maintaining, and integrating ontologies (e.g., Protege, semantic web technologies, knowledge graphs, etc.).
Experience integrating data into modeling and simulation (M&S) standards, digital engineering environments, or live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) platforms.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active Secret security clearance
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to travel (10% or less).
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
The projected compensation range for this position is $117,000.00-$195,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
