Job Description
Role purpose:
- Lead and grow the P&S AMEA Data Science solution team to develop and deliver AI/ML products and solutions.
- Understand the P&S landscape of AMEA+ and comprehend the related data, analytics and forecasting needs from functions/teams within AMEA.
- Align AI/ML initiatives with business goals and ensure high-quality product delivery and business outcomes.
- Drive AI/ML innovation to solve business challenges.
- Spread the AI/ML awareness to drive Data Driven Culture in the organization.
- Foster collaboration across teams and departments.
- Mentor team members and promote skill development.
Stay ahead of AI/ML trends and technologies and mentor team members and promote capability development, knowledge sharing and ease of doing business.

Knowledge, experience & capabilities:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development and implementation, with at least one major AI/ML product delivered as a lead.
- At least 3 years in a product engineering leadership or management role, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the AI/ML product lifecycle, including:
- Data discovery and engineering
- ML model development, training, and tuning
- Inference and insights generation
- Visualization and reporting
- Implementation of feedback loops for continuous improvement
- Proven track record in project management, with proficiency in Agile methodologies.
- Experience working in diverse, multi-cultural environments, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry-specific AI/ML applications, preferably in agriculture or life sciences.
- Experience in mentoring and developing technical teams.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex AI/ML concepts into business value propositions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, AI/ML or in Computer Science/related field (Master's preferred) with relevant credentials in AI/ML.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and applications with knowledge of programming languages (Python, R, Java).
- Familiarity with ML frameworks and tools across the product design, engineering, testing, and delivery phases.
- Familiarity of production, supply chain and related business processes.
