Job Identification:
The Senior Legal Counsel will support and lead legal processes of CCI’s operations in 11 countries, while also providing strategic legal support to CCI’s Treasury and Finance teams in banking and financing transactions. The role acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring legal, regulatory, and governance excellence.
What We Expect:
- Advise Country Leadership Team, country Legal Teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders on a broad range of legal matters.
- Provide pragmatic, business‑oriented legal solutions while effectively managing legal risks and costs.
- Ensure proper conduct of Board of Directors and General Assembly meetings, corporate reporting, and public disclosures in compliance with Capital Markets Board (CMB) regulations and other applicable legislation.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Lead and support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence processes, SPAs, SHAs, and post‑transaction integration matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of agreements, including procurement, sales, construction, and loan/financing agreements.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, external counsel, shareholders, and government bodies.
- Liaise with The Coca-Cola Company’s Division‑level legal teams and Trademark Counsel on brand‑related and cross‑border legal matters.
- Design and deliver legal trainings to business teams as required to enhance legal awareness and compliance culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law with bar admission; Master degree is an asset
- Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Minimum 7 years of post‑qualification experience, preferably from a reputable law firm and/or multinational company
- Strong background in corporate, M&A, finance, or commercial law
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organization
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities
- Demonstrates the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and sound professional judgement.
