About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our reporting and analytical infrastructure. This role combines manual and automated testing, with a strong opportunity to design and establish first test automation framework from the ground up.  You will play a key role in shaping testing standards, improving quality processes, and enabling scalable, efficient QA practices across the organization

What You’ll Do

• Perform manual testing of reporting and analytics systems to ensure accuracy, stability, and usability.
• Design, build, and maintain a test automation framework.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using any suitable automation tool.
• Define test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Apply automation testing concepts to improve test coverage, efficiency, and release confidence.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with engineering and product teams to resolve issues.
• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and best practices to support scalable quality assurance.
• Support technical evaluations of other consultants when required, contributing to the assessment of skills and alignment with project needs

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering, covering both manual and automated testing
• Strong understanding of automation testing concepts and best practices
• Experience using any test automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• Ability to design and implement a test automation framework from scratch
• Availability to work in US PST time-zone
• Solid skills in test planning, test case design, and defect tracking
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, especially for data, reporting, and analytics
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a greenfield QA environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork
