Job Description
I am Frédéric, responsible at Teledyne e2v Grenoble for the business management of the image sensors for space activity. To strengthen my team, I’m seeking for a Marketing Manager, with a passion for cutting-edge technology and innovation, to lead the launch of a new product line of professional imaging sensors ruggedized for space environments.
This strategic initiative addresses the fast-evolving needs of the space imaging market. These last years have seen the rise of the New-Space approach, with a lot of new actors coming into the market.
Our business unit delivers high reliability electronics components for Space and Defense markets. We have all the functions in-house, and you’ll be integrated in a human-size organization that favors collaborative work and decision-taking.
Your key Responsibilities will be:
- Market Analysis & Product Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and emerging opportunities
- Define product roadmaps and propose new product developments
- Drive partnerships to develop new solutions
- Product Launch & Management:
- Drive the introduction of new products to market
- Oversee product development projects in close collaboration with R&D teams
- Sales Support & Communication:
- Develop and maintain sales tools (product presentations, pitches, salesbooks)
- Organize and deliver marketing communication activities (webinars, conference talks, articles, etc.)
- Train sales teams and support them in discussions with strategic customers
- Market Intelligence & Advocacy:
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape
- Contribute to lobbying efforts with agencies to secure funding
You will work in a dynamic environment, and will be the real bandmaster for this activity, coordinating different crafts to deliver a successful solution to the market. As our business is on human scale, you’ll directly see your impact on our results.
Ideally, you are an experienced marketing professional, with an experience in image sensors, and a strong willingness to work in a high tech environment. You are used to work with international customers, especially in the US and in Asia. The position will imply some frequent travels, and you’ll make some presentations during conferences and trade shows. Your audience will go from key personals of big space agencies, or space primes, to representatives of startups ready to shape the future of the space business.
