Award-winning SriLankan IT team is seeking dynamic individual to join as a Lead Network Engineer(Airport & Flight Operations).
The individual is responsible for Implement and evolving modern, robust and cost effective IT solutions to meet the business requirements of the airline by utilizing the right combination of innovative & proven technologies in the industry. SLA)/
Operational
Level Agreements
(OLA), standards and industry best practices. Lead and administrate a team of technical staff to achieve the set IT service standards/targets in airport service delivery (
Bandaranaike International Airport, Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport & flight Operations
) and to maintain a satisfactory user experience.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead a 24X7 technical support team and ensure incident, problem,capacity, change, configuration & request management processes are implemented & followed to meet agreed Service Level Agreements & Operational Level Agreements at Bandaranaike International Airport, Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport & flight Operations.
- Work and liaise with the wider technical community, including managed service providers and other operations teams, on implementation, maintenance & support of Airport IT infrastructure services.
- Ensure continuous improvements to the existing IT systems at Bandaranaike International Airport , Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport & flight Operations, evolving current solutions, introducing emerging technologies & new practices whenever appropriate to achieve cost and performance benefits.
- Establish and maintain standards, build processes, procedures and documentation to ensure the reliability and serviceability of IT infrastructure meeting operational requirements and industry standards such as ISO,ITIL.
- Provide a 3rd level of expert advice and support for related incidents and problems to the 24/7 team as and when required.
- Liaise with Airport and Flight Operations Management teams, Airport & Aviation Services(Sri Lanka) Limited,Civil Aviation Authority,Customs, Immigration and other stake holders at Airport to ensure most appropriate IT infrastructure is in place at the Airport and Flight Operations.
- Project planning and management to oversee mid to long-term IT enterprise solutions.
