Senior Solution Architect

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex, enterprise-level solutions. This role will drive strategic technology initiatives, ensuring architectural integrity, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead the design and architectural vision for strategic solutions, considering current and emerging technologies.
* Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technical architectures.
* Champion Agility core practices within solution design and development lifecycles.
* Conduct comprehensive Data Analysis and Data design activities to inform architectural decisions.
* Develop detailed Business modelling to ensure solutions effectively address business needs and constraints.
* Monitor Emerging technology to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
* Ensure solutions adhere to stringent Information Assurance principles and security best practices.
* Oversee Integration strategies for disparate systems and applications, promoting seamless data flow and functionality.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, fostering best practices in Systems Development Management.
* Contribute to the IT strategy and planning process, aligning architectural roadmaps with overall business goals.
* Optimize Service operations and resilience through well-designed and robust architectural patterns.
* Perform User Experience Analysis to ensure architectural choices support intuitive and effective user interactions.
* Act as a subject matter expert in various Technical specialisms relevant to BP's business domains.
* Collaborate closely with IT Management and stakeholders to communicate architectural decisions and progress.
* Drive Creativity and Innovation in solution design, challenging the status quo to deliver superior outcomes.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Solution Architect in a large enterprise environment, ideally within a global organization.
* Demonstrable expertise in Solution Architecture principles, methodologies, and tools.
* Strong understanding and practical application of Agility core practices.
* Proficiency in Business modelling techniques and their application in solution design.
* Exceptional skills in Data Analysis and Data design.
* Experience with Emerging technology monitoring and evaluation.
* Deep knowledge of Information Assurance principles and security best practices.
* Extensive experience with various Integration patterns and technologies.
* Familiarity with IT Management frameworks and processes.
* Proven ability to contribute to and execute IT strategy and planning.
* Understanding of Service operations and resilience best practices.
* Experience with Systems Development Management methodologies.
* Ability to conduct and interpret User Experience Analysis.
* Strong technical specialism in at least one relevant domain (e.g., cloud platforms, data analytics, enterprise applications).
* Demonstrated ability to drive Creativity and Innovation in technical solutions.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
