About this role

You will represent the Global Reporting Centre of Excellence (GR CoE) as the technical lead for finance reporting ERP Evolution S/4HANA. You will own the technical architecture and delivery of SAP BI and Power BI (VISTA) reporting during the VISTA recreation programme (Wave 0 and Wave 1), and ensure alignment between legacy and new platforms (Data Sphere, SAC, S/4HANA). You will work closely with tech BI architects, data engineering, and other technology teams to shape and deliver robust, reconciled and secure reporting solutions that meet stakeholder needs and support self-service reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • Accountable for representing the current technical architecture of SAP BI and Power BI VISTA reporting, documenting data flows, models, queries and security configurations.

  • Deliver technical artefacts to the project team: data models, SQL/MDX/DAX/ABAP queries, connection definitions, data lineage and security matrices.

  • Lead the design and testing of new reporting solutions from the GR CoE perspective, ensuring data reconciliation, functional accuracy and performance testing.

  • Manage, mentor and coordinate the work of Power BI developers during VISTA recreation (Wave 0 and Wave 1), ensuring delivery quality, coding standards and deployment practices.

  • Ensure technical alignment and interoperability between legacy platforms and new reporting platforms (Data Sphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, S/4HANA), including data model mapping and migration approaches.

  • Act as technical advisor on report development, data integration patterns, role-based security and architecture decisions across the finance reporting portfolio.

  • Collaborate with BI architecture, data engineering and IT to ensure data quality, consistency, secure access and operational support for reporting solutions.

  • Support project delivery activities across requirements, build, test, deployment and post-launch support; escalate and remediate technical risks and defects.

  • Maintain documentation, standards, technical runbooks and KPIs for the GR CoE reporting portfolio; contribute to governance and build re-usable assets.

  • Support the GR CoE ERP Lead during engagement with senior finance stakeholders to prioritise reporting needs, demonstrate technical choices, and support benefits realisation and change adoption.

  • Contribute to building a self-service reporting offer by providing reusable datasets, security patterns, developer guidance and user enablement materials.

Why You?

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Data Science or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering BI, analytics or reporting solutions in a global environment, with hands-on delivery in SAP BI and Power BI preferred.

  • Proven technical experience with Power BI (including data modelling, DAX, deployment pipelines), SAP BW/BEx or other SAP reporting tools and with query development.

  • Practical experience of data integration, data governance, data quality processes and connecting multiple data sources.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with senior finance leaders.

  • Fluent English, able to communicate clearly in writing and speaking.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, Data or Project Management.

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA reporting, Data Sphere, SAC and finance data models.

  • Track record delivering finance reporting transformations, migrations or automation programmes.

  • Strong project management experience, including planning, resource coordination and benefits tracking.

  • Experience building self-service BI capabilities, producing enablement materials and embedding governance.

  • Familiarity with data privacy, security standards and role-based access controls for financial data.

Working model This role is hybrid.

You will be expected to work from our office part of the week and connect with global colleagues regularly.

The annual base salary in Poland for new hires in this position ranges from PLN 279,750 to PLN 466,250 gross, taking into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer’s discretion). All statutory benefits will be maintained in accordance with Polish law. Other benefits may also be offered, which may include private healthcare, additional paid days off, life insurance, private pension plan and fully paid parental leave & care of family member leave.
